Completed my senior year of college at Loyola University in New Orleans, this is a piece that always stays in my portfolio despite the amount of professional work I complete. After scrapping concepts that were too generic, I remembered learning about the nightingale as a foreshadowing of the play’s tragic end. Coupled with some autumn colors, it created a bittersweet emotive tone that’s influenced my subsequent work.
